San Antonio Stock Show Youth Rodeo

Congratulations to our Youth Rodeo Contestants at the San Antonio Stock Show Youth Rodeo! Brayze Schill won the Bareback Division for the 2nd year in a row! YES!! THe victory flag will be flying today!! Congratulations to Abigail Wicker and Kerrah Burnett who both did fantastic this year!

Tennis Results

Columbia Tennis competed in a rain delayed Sweeny today for the first Tennis tournament of the season! Everyone got to compete in a couple matches today with Amber Oum taking a 3rd place finish in girls singles!

Girls Golf Team Results

Congrats to these young ladies... 3rd Invitation title of the 2021 season. Wet/rainy conditions made the going tough at the Danbury HS Invitational. The LadyNecks shot 395 led by Claire Kondra (95) 1st place, Alexis Presley (96) 2nd place, Allie Damborsky (101) 3rd place, Elizabeth Alexander (103), and Brinley Hardwick (105)

UIL Young Filmakers Festival Results

James (JD) Schurtz is a Senior at CHS. He has been actively involved in the Theatre program for 4 years. JD is a leader in our International Thespians Honor Society. He has served as an officer for CHS Troupe 2941 for three years. JD has competed in various events through theatre including One Act Play and Prose Interpretation. This year, JD became the first Roughneck to enter the UIL Young Filmmakers Festival. His entry was a Documentary entitled For He Has a Plan, which chronicles his childhood battle with Leukemia and his life journey afterward.
His entry made it through to the 2nd round of competition. Congratulations to this fine young man!
