The mask mandate for all CBISD employees and students has been lifted by the CBISD School Board, starting tomorrow, March 17th, 2021.
The mask mandate is the only aspect of our COVID plan that has been altered at this time.
Any staff or student who would like to continue wearing a mask, may continue to do so.

Junior Achievement is awarding $1000 scholarships to deserving students based on their essays including their ideas and the developments of the ideas in a well written, organized paper.
Essay should cover the free enterprise system and how it has influenced your family.
Minimum of 500 words. Deadline is May 17th.

ATTENTION SENIORS
It is time to sign the final senior transcript book!
The college you are planning to attend must receive your final transcript AFTER you graduate.
ALSO: If you took a dual credit class, you must send a final transcript to Brazosport College.
Go to Mrs. McGaughey’s desk in the front office to sign the final senior transcript book. You must write down the college you have been accepted to.
If undecided, you can request sealed transcripts for pick up in mid-June.
Phillips 66 Valued Partner Scholarship
Phillips 66 Sweeny Refinery is providing scholarships to local high school seniors this year. Two seniors from Columbia High School will receive a $1,000 Valued Partner Scholarship at the school’s awards ceremony.
Requirements for successful application:
Must be graduating senior.
Plan to attend an accredited College, Jr. College, University, or Trade School in the Fall.
Minimum C grade point average.
Must complete entire application.
